The term “Slug” refers to the different elements in a URL (Uniform Resource Locater). In other words, a slug is the unique part of a URL that generally identifies a particular page or resource on a website in an easily readable form by both users and search engines.
Each and every post, plug, and comment on a website has a different slug that explains the page content.
