Last year on September 10, 2019, Google announced UGC for user-generated content means random people adding links to a website’s content. This announcement by Google has shaken the SEO industry. UGC is an acronym for “user-generated content”. The UGC links attribute looks something like this:

You can use this tag to all user comments and posts on your site as recommended by Google. This attribute is used for links in blog or article comments, social media comments, for links contained in forum posts, and for any other content sections that users are allowed to create on your website.

Besides this, this tag will you more control over how the search engine like Google, Bing, or Yahoo will treat the links it finds on your site.
